Normally I don’t explore sexual aspects of my characters but Grenner and the Arch are special..a wild card of an Arch as well, not often do they indulge in behavior like this, especially with someone out of their species realm. Archs are a lot like a hive mind, if one thinks or makes a wide spectrum decision, chances are most would also make that choice. It’s one of the main reasons they’re well suited for war. But most is not all, and there are some outliers that do enjoy behaviors outside the norm. Sex is rare in Archian culture, and is gradually becoming rarer for collective reasons. The act of sex is not seen as an anomaly or frowned upon, it’s simply passively ignored.

Grenner on the other hand has always had some interest in having sexual relationships, though most are short lived. He’s an open book and cares little about gender and is really after the companionship/closeness of another. Being a bounded-by-contract ‘assault airship’ pilot he doesn’t get many chances to search around. Despite being a hardass, loudmouthed shit, he wants something to brood over and care for. For some reason he might get what he’s been looking for in an Arch, and that idea surprised even me. (:
